I’m running for City Council because I love Medford and I want to work to make it even better.
Why am I running?
I believe in the promise of a representative democracy; the balance between firmly held beliefs and representing the real-life needs of your constituents.
I believe in the inherent value and worth of every human being. As the Assistant Director of the Malden Warming Center, I can attest that our community members with the greatest struggles are worth care, respect, and dignity.
I have the expertise, connections, and qualifications to serve on the City Council. I hold bachelors and masters degrees from Boston University and a graduate certificate in Gender, Leadership, and Public Policy from UMass Boston. I was an intern for Representative Christine Barber and an employee of Senator Kathleen O’Connor-Ives in the State House and I worked for the Superintendent of Schools and with the School Committee and the Mayor’s office here in Medford. I see what needs to happen for Medford’s city government to work and to truly represent its residents.

Together we can make Medford a city that works for all its residents.
